Hi Layla, I actually recommend All Birds shoes. Alternatively, Columbia walking shoes. If you want something super chic (in my opinion) but also comfortable, I would go for a pair of military boots. They work sow ell with dresses and skirts and a lot of brands have comfortable ones.
I also wear New Balance and All Birds for my trips :D
